In this context, since 2001, our ITU Disaster Management Research and Application Center has been providing training on disaster management to public institutions, private sector employees, civil society organizations, and the public. It also carries out national and international projects and provides consultancy services when necessary.

The ITU Disaster Management Research and Application Center aims to produce solutions to problems arising from all disasters and emergencies occurring in our country. Our faculty members from different departments of our university have received disaster management training, are currently working on topics related to Modern and Integrated Disaster Management, and are therefore natural members of the ITU Disaster Management Research and Application Center. However, when necessary, experts from other domestic or foreign institutions can participate in projects with the decision of the center's board.
